Felicia Boubin - Au.D.
Felicia has received her doctorate in Audiology from Arizona School of Health and Hearing Sciences. She has been with Hillcrest Hearing Aids and Balance Center since 1985. Felicia's primary focus through the years has been on amplification and hearing rehabilitation. She is currently the team leader for Hillcrest Hearing Aids and Balance Center, a division of Southwest Ohio ENT Specialists.
Felicia has been actively involved in the education of students, hearing health care providers and patients in regard to current technology trends and amplification fitting methods. She has been a clinical site supervisor and a mentor for Miami University Audiology and Ohio University graduate students. She served as education chair person for the Ohio Hearing Aid Society and currently is an instructor in Hillcrest Hearing Aids and Balance Center's The Kooser Program: The Hidden Impact of Hearing Loss class. She also has been on several education committees of the International Hearing Society. She received the Dispenser of the Year award from the Hearing Healthcare Alliance of Ohio in 1997.
Felicia has served a term as an Audiology member on the Ohio Board of Speech Pathology and Audiology and two terms on the Hearing Aid Dealers and Fitters Licensing Board.
Felicia is an active member in the Hearing Healthcare Alliance of Ohio, International Hearing Society, American Academy of Auiology, American Hearing and Speech Association, A.G. Bell Association and Academy of Dispensing Audiologists. Felicia is currently serving hearing aid patients in our Centerville Office.

Dr. Bowden received her Doctorate in Audiology from Northeast Ohio Au.D. Consortium. She joined Southwest Ohio ENT Specialists shortly thereafter. Dr. Bowden's interests include comprehensive audiological evaluations, hearing aid fittings, balance testing and other neurodiagnostic evaluations. She enjoys working with both pediatric and adult populations.
She has participated in many community outreach programs including Health Fairs, Consumer Seminars and SAfe Sound, a hearing conservation program for children.

While working at Cincinnati Children's Hospital she served the needs of children and their parents for 6 years. She was the Hearing Impaired Clinic Coordinator for the Audiology Department and worked extensively with ancillary professionals in order to meet the needs of hearing impaired children.
Kimberly has participated in community outreach programs including consumer seminars at Kettering Hospital, activities in May for Better Speech and Hearing Month, as well as educational materials for patients and families.

Dr. Aura Lee Elder has been practicing with the Southwest Ohio ENT Specialists and Hillcrest Hearing Aids and Balance Center since 2006. She is a native of Western Pennsylvania. Prior to relocating to the Cincinnati-Dayton area, she worked in an Ear, Nose, and Throat practice in Pittsburgh, PA. She performs a wide variety of audiological services including comprehensive audiological evaluations, hearing aid and assistive device fittings, as well as performing balance testing and other neurodiagnostic evaluations.
Dr. Elder is board certified by the American Board of Audiology, is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, is certified by the American Institute of Balance in Vestibular Assessment and Management, and is licensed by the Ohio Board of Speech Pathology and Audiology.

Maryann Heider, M.Ed. CCC.A., has been with Hillcrest Hearing Aids and Balance Center since 1984. She is a licensed, and certified Audiologist with a masters degree in Audiology from Northeastern University. While at NU, she completed a sign language interpreter training program and completed her clinical fellowship in Audiology at Gallaudet College in Washington D.C., the world's only liberal arts college for deaf students.
Maryann is involved in promoting hearing health awareness through her presence at area health fairs, school programs, as well as TV and radio programming. She was instrumental in the development of Hillcrest Hearing Aids and Balance Center's nationally recognized aural rehabilitation program, "The Kooser Program - The Hidden Impact of Hearing Loss". She writes a monthly column in the publication, "The Chronical." She is the voice of Hillcrest promoting hearing health awareness on radio stations WHIO 1290 AM and 95.7 FM.
Maryann is dedicated to helping people improve their quality of life through better hearing. She maintains active membership in the American Speech Language Hearing Association, International Hearing Society, Ohio, Speech Hearing Association, American Tinnitus Association, Hearing Loss Association, and the American Academy of Audiology. Mary Beth received her Master's Degree in Audiology from Minot State College. In November of 2006 she received her Doctor of Audiology degree from the Arizona School of Health Sciences, a division of the A. T. Still University of Health Sciences. She has been in the practice of Audiology for over 25 years and has spent 16 years practicing in the Dayton area.
Mary Beth provides comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and has done balance testing for our physicians along with Central Auditory Processing evaluations for children and adults. Mary Beth is Coordinator of our Cochlear Implant Program. She has over 12 years of experience with cochlear implants including all of the Cochlear Americas and Advanced Bionics systems. She has experience working with the Cochlear Americas BAHA system as well.

Her husband's Military career took her to Massachusetts, California, United Kingdom, and New Mexico, where she continued to practice in the field of Audiology. After Military retirement in 2006, Kim and her husband chose to return to Dayton and Kim once again joined Southwest Ohio ENT Specialists and Hillcrest Hearing Aids and Balance Center. Terri Roberts received her Master's degree in Audiology from Cleveland State University and her Bachelor's degree from Bowling Green State University. She has ben serving the hearing health care needs of those in the Dayton area since 1996.
Terri has performed comprehensive diagnostic evaluations, hearing instrument and assistive listening device fittings, and aural rehabilitation therapy in a private office setting for fourteen years. She developed an aural rehabilitation class for new hearing instrument patients, now utilized nationwide. She participated in educational videos, lectures, and coordinated with many ancillary professionals focusing on improving the communication abilities of those living with hearing loss. She was involved in Southwest Outreach Consortium for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
Terri is licensed by the Ohio Board of Speech Language Pathology and Audiology, a certified member (CCC-A) of the American Speech Language Hearing Association, and a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. Rachael received her Master of Science degree in Audiology from the City University of New York at Hunter College in May of 2004. She served as an Audiology Clinical Fellow at the VA New York Harbor in Brooklyn, New York becoming licensed through the New York State Board of Speech Pathology and Audiology in July 2005. Rachael moved from New York City to join our practice in August 2006.
Rachael performs comprehensive diagnostic evaluations, retrocochlear testing, and balance testing for the physicians of our practice. Since January of 2009 she has also been working in the field of cochlear implants in order to help people with severe to profound hearing loss that are not receiving benefit through amplification with hearing aids.

He has been a part of Southwest Ohio ENT Specialists since October, 1996 serving primarily in our northern satellite offices. Allen Massie - H.I.S.
Allen has been serving the needs of the hearing impaired population in the Miami Valley since 1968. Since 1972, he has been both a member of the Hearing Healthcare Alliance of Ohio and the International Hearing Society as well as licensed by the State of Ohio. In 1988, he became Board Certified in Hearing Instrument Sciences and in 1990 completed the American Conference on Audioprosthology course. He has been very active in the hearing health care community, serving on the State Board of the Hearing Healthcare Alliance of Ohio as a Trustee, Vice President and a two term Presidency. In 2001, he was the recipient of the Pat Clark Award for service to all Ohio dispensers. Allen also helped the Sertoma Club of Troy incorporate a hearing awareness program in TheTroy City Schools. For his efforts, he was awarded the 1996 Sertoman of the year.
As an active member of his church in Troy, Allen has traveled to Pucallpa, Peru yearly on medical missionary trips since 1997 as part of a medical team based out of Memphis, Tennessee. He performs hearing testing and distributes hearing aids to the people living in Pucallpa paying special attention to the Shapibo Indians. The trip is promoted through the United Servants Abroad, with help from the South American Mission missionaries who serve as interpreters. Special funding help is provided by Southwest Ohio ENT Specialists and Hillcrest Hearing Aids and Balance Center.
Allen has been married to Nancy since 1964. They have two children, and four grandchildren.

Pandora has held positions with several large and small companies in Cincinnati. She also home schooled and raised 5 children. It wasn't until she moved to Dayton that she was able to fulfill a lifelong dream of working in the health-care industry. After working in a pediatric office as front end supervisor for several years, Pandora took on the role of Audiology Coordinator for Southwest Ohio ENT Specialists in 2008. She is uniquely qualified for the position since she wears hearing aids herself and thus understands the needs and concerns of the people she talks with on a daily basis.

As a graduate of the University of Dayton with an Associate's Degree in Business Administration, her 20+ yearsof experience provide the necessary managerial skills to maintain the promotion, scheduling and presentation of this program. She works closely with Cathy Kooser in the continuous updating and revising of the seminar materials to preent the most accurate information available. Leslie is a member of the Hearing Loss Association of America and helped facilitate the first HLAA Walk4Hearing in Dayton, Ohio in 2009. Cathy Kooser - Licensed Independent Social Worker
Cathy Kooser is a Licensed Independent Social Worker who has a severe sensorineural hearing loss. Using her own personal struggles as well as relevant research, she developed and teaches an aural rehabilitation program entitled The Kooser Program: The Hidden Impact of Hearing Loss. This program, formatted into a one day workshop, is being utilized by the Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation in the state of Ohio as part of the rehabilitation process for consumers requesting assistance related to their hearing disability. The workshop is designed to educate both the consumer and their family, about hearing loss. Cathy's program is available in 8 states and she is working to expand her program throughout the nation.
Cathy obtained her bachelor's degree in social work in 1998 from Wright State University and her master's degree in social work in 2004 from the University of Cincinnati. She received 2nd place in the Practitioner category for the 2010 Oticon Focus on People Awards. She was the recipient of the Spirit of Community Award presented by the University of Cincinnati's School of Social Work and also the Judith R. Holm Excellence in Training Award, presented by the Ohio Clinical Social Work Society. She is a member of the American Academy of Audiologists, National Rehabilitation Association, Academy of Rehabilitative Audiologists, National Association of Social Workers, the Ohio Rehabilitation Association, and Hearing Loss Association of America.

Terry Stivers is the Audiology Business Manager for Southwest Ohio ENT Specialists and Hillcrest Hearing Aids and Balance Center. She began her career in Otolaryngology practice management in 1986. Terry received her Certification in Otolaryngology Practice Management in 2005 from the Association of Otolaryngology Administrators. She served in the United States Air Force for 4.5 years.
Much of her time is spent actively expanding our services. She works closely with area businesses and physicians to continue the strong medical and professional services for both Southwest Ohio ENT Specialists and Hillcrest Hearing Aids and Balance Center, who are known throughout the area for their excellence in services and experience.
Terry is very active in the Association of Otolaryngology Administrators. She has served as a State Representative, Regional Coordinator and Member at Large on the Leadership Council and Executive Committee.
