Dr. Goldenberg is a graduate of Stanford University (AB Political Science) and the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He completed his residency at the University of Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary in Chicago, Illinois. He also completed an Otology and Neurotology Fellowship at the House Ear Institute in Los Angeles, California. Dr. Goldenberg served in the United States Navy where he was Head of the Department of Otolaryngology at the Naval Regional Medical Center at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. He was certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology in 1973. Dr. Goldenberg specializes in the management of hearing loss and balance disorders. He invented prosthetic devices (Goldenberg Middle Ear Implant System) for the surgical restoration of hearing. Dr. Goldenberg has been in practice in the Dayton area since 1976. He is the Professor and Chief of the Division of Otolaryngology at Wright State University School of Medicine. His research interests are the restoration and/or reparation of the inner ear cells of the cochlea which cause nerve deafness.
