Valerie received her master's degree in Audiology from The Ohio State University in June of 2001. Valerie then joined our office in January 2002 during her fellowship year. She became licensed through the Ohio Board of Speech Pathology and Audiology in May 2002 after obtaining her Certificate of Clinical Competence in April 2002.

Valerie performs hearing testing, retrocochlear testing, and balance testing for the physicians of our practice. Since April 2003, Valerie has also been working in the field of cochlear implants in order to help people with severe to profound hearing loss that are not receiving benefit through hearing aids. Beginning in October 2004, Valerie has traveled with co-worker, Allen Massie to Peru on annual medical missionary trips.
